Recognition for our commitment towards environment
The Indian Bureau of Mines conducts the Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week to promote sustainable mining practices. This year, the final day function of the MEMC Week 2025-26 was held in Bangalore on 24th January 2026, and our mines achieved notable recognition by securing three prizes: First Prize for Afforestation, First Prize for Publicity & Propaganda, and Second Prize for Mineral Beneficiation.
